The African Development Studies Centre (ADSC) is an organization with sole aim of rethinking development in Africa. The centre offer’s full array of training opportunities that builds individuals and organizations from both the private and public sector in ethical related issues at a broader standpoint in all aspect of business.
ADSC is centre for development of best practice in private and public administration management. Our training and education programs are tailored to the needs of our clients. Our research and publishing services offer an informed voice and forum for discussion and debate on public service issues.
ADSC has as its primary focus issues which are central to the development of society and to provide a forum for the exchange of ideas among African people from a variety of intellectual persuasions and various disciplines. The centre also promotes research and debates on issues relating to the conduct of public affairs and management of development in Africa.

OBJECTIVES
1. To promote and enhance ethics in public administration
2. To create an atmosphere that will enhance public servants knowledge and skills required to develop, inform, and monitor public policy on issues relevant to their countries.
3. To foster a critical participation in the governance process in the African continent
4. To conduct in-depth research study on the experiences of African countries.
5. To offer a platform for clients especially women to share experiences that can help African countries to improve performance and enhance the effectiveness of the delivery of services.
6. To provide a training ground for African bureaucrats and public officers
7. To create avenue for the interaction amongst policy makers in Africa
8. To promote accountability and transparency in public sector management
9. To provide the bedrock for the consolidation of democracy in Africa.
10. To enhance public servants understanding of how governments make policy decisions, so that they can participate more effectively in the public policy process;
11. To enable every public servant to develop a policy ready position that responds to developmental challenges in the continent.
